20xx年12月16日，这个日子是我人生的一大转折点，这一天，我结束了23年乡镇工作生涯，也让我在没有任何思想准备下，接受组织安排，从时任潘口乡党委宣传委员调到县轻工行业协会任副会长。一下子从闹到静，从大到“小”，从优到“劣”，巨大的反差让我一时不知何去何从。就在我到单位报到还不到3天，单位主要领导商量我到田家坝从事首期移民工作。不到一周时间，我的身份一变再变，心情真是五味杂陈，身边的亲友也无不为我“鸣不平”。那几天，我基本上没睡过囫囵觉，几十年工作历程中的一幕幕，不停在我眼前晃动。最终，我理智地做出决定：我是一个受组织培养多年、有着20年党龄的中年干部，从举起右手向党旗宣誓那一刻起，自己就应时时刻刻不折不扣地服从组织安排，绝不能用自己的工作经历和取得的工作成绩来讨价还价，参与全县潘口电站大移民的工作中，同样可展示自己的风采，体现自身的价值！这样一想，顿时豁然开朗，脑子里思考的全都是如何面对全新的移民工作。
