good morning. today i m going to share with you the most valuable thing that i have learned at university.
i was born in 1977. but my life didn t begin in the real sense until 1999. prior to that, i spent every hour, every day and every year doing what was expected of me , eating, sleeping, studying, playing, so on and so forth.
i didn't have the idea of who i am, what i should do now and next or what life means to me. never had i thought about these questions. this situation lasted for year after year.
it underwent few changes even after i entered the university. and it was another two years later that i began to think about these questions, which are of great significance to me, from then on, my life turned over a new leaf, because independent thinking, which didn t have any place in my life, started to play an important part.
first, thinking helps me to know myself, such as my dream, interest, strengths and weaknesses. as we all know, every one of us has his own character, although we are all human beings. it is therefore vital for us to develop a sense of identity, form our own opinions, make our own choices and take responsibility for our own destinies.
we won t be the initiator of our action or in charge of our life, unless we think about our uniqueness and make our individuality clear. to my joy, i ve started to do that. now i set my own standards and regard them as my code of conduct rather than judge myself by how others estimate me or how much approval i m getting from other people.
i won t live in the shadow of anyone else. i live my life in my own way.
second, thinking stimulates me to treat life and time seriously. man s dearest possession is life. it is given to him but once.

quickly. nat surprisingly, she again did very badly in the exam. and two months later,
at the beginning of the new semester, word came of her death of blood cancer. no one
ever knew about the little task i failed to fulfill, but i couldnt f***ive myself.
i simply couldnt f***et her eyes, which seem to be asking, why didnt you do a little
more to help me, when it was so easy for you why didnt you understand a little better

aggravate, rather than alleviate our diseases since money, many people believe, is
the most important thing in the world that must be made, even at the expense of morality
and responsibility.
such an era, furthermore, demands, that we are a generation with a clear
perception of our historical responsibility and an aggressive will to take action
and solve the problems. history has long been preparing these qualities in this
generation and it is now calling us forward to give testimony to our patrioti** and
heroi** towards this nation and all humanity. standing here now, i think of the past 15 years of my life as an ordinary student.
probably ill be an ordinary man for the rest of my life. but this doesnt discourage
me any, for i know that with my sense of responsibility and devoted efforts to always

life is one of the most mysterious things in the world. because of its uncertainty, it can be wonderful or terrible at any time. and also, there is much time when you are laughing while some one is crying.
it’s ***mon, how to view our life is just how we love it. so, love of life is worth reading.
love of life is a collection of short stories. and all the short stories are written by jack london. and in fact love of life is one of the short stories, but, all the stories tell us to love our life.
then i will introduce the book to you in three parts.
firstly is the author. jack london was born in 1876 in a peasant family. when he was a child, he suffered a lot because of poorness.
for life, he had to work as a shepherd child when he was 8. when he was 17, he became a real sailor and hunted seals. and after his sea travel, he wrote down his experience into prose, helped him started his writing affairs.
in 1916, he killed himself and until now, no one knows why.
then i will tell you something about the book. the book is a collection of jack london’s short stories including 8 short novels. and love of life is the first novel in the book and it’s also one of the most famous novels of jack london.
the story is about a man walking down a river bank with his only friend bill. there was no man but deer and wolves. he had to find food and survive from the situation.
unluckily, he sprained his ankle and then he fell behind. he called bill but bill still went forward rather than stop to wait. he wanted survival and believed that bill is waiting for him somewhere and then find people who can help him.
this faith kept him walking and surviving from hungry and wolf. the following days, he threw all his gold and kept walking forward. 5 days later, he arrived beach and saw a big ship far away.
he could only crawl because of weakness. and he found two things. his friend bill was already dead with his gold and a sick wolf was following him.
after fighting against the wolf, he drank wolf’s blood and fell asleep. finally he was saved by sailors.
the story is the most typical story that can tell us what author wanted to say.
at last, i will tell you some idea of mine towards the book.
life will be the way you believe it. you love it, and it will also love you. you hate it, and it will be***e ugly.
what beat the hungry, the loneliness, the wolf and the despair? they are courage and belief. so, hold the courage and belief and never loss it.
and another thing i must mention. choices is also important. throw gold and live or hold it and die?

Do you always smile to life? If the answer is yes, I think you’re a very happy person.
If a person feels happy, his smile just shows he is glad. It’s very normal. But if you feel sad, what should you do? As a junior student, we should learn to smile to life. There are many bad things in our study life，such as some bad exams or a difficult game. When difficulties come, what will you face to them? I think smile is the best way for us.
When you do badly in an exam, smile to life. Tell yourself to be happy. Now since things have happened, your anger and sadness will do nothing. Instead it’ll even do harm to your health. Why not smile and do better next time?

能源对经济的发展至关重要，过去的三百年目睹了人类在工业化与城市化进程中大量依赖化石燃料的历史（Reddish & Rand， ）。其结果是大量的温室气体被排出，特别是CO2，这些有害气体有可能导致气候变暖，为此，世界银行称之为“现代能源利用的最具毁灭性的结果（World Bank， ， p30）”。气候变暖反过来又会影响人类的身体健康、居住环境、生态系统、农业及水源等。地球大气最显著的变化始于十九世纪的工业革命，自那以后便加快了步伐。发达国家不仅应该为其工业革命初期排放的CO2承担责任，还要对因其能源消费水平提高而提高了CO2排放量负责。发展中国家，因其经济飞速发展、人口迅速增加，也无可辩驳地成为一个CO2的主要排放源（如下图所示）。目前，世界总人口约60亿。根据世行1992年的推算，到2150年，世界人口将翻一翻多，2/3的增长其将出现在2050年。到那时，95% 的增长人口将出现在发展中国家（World Bank， 1992， p26）。人口增长加大了对能源的'需求，因而也加大了对环境破坏的可能性。世界能源委员会预测，根据目前的发展趋势，到，发展中国家对能源的需求量将以每年2.6% 的速度增长，全球及OECD国家仅为1.4% 和0.7% （World Bank， 2000， pp20-21）。由此可见，如果发展中国家依赖化石燃料发展其经济的模式不变，那么，他们将会排放更多的CO2 （参见以下数据）。
就人口状况和经济发展水平而言，与发达国家相比，发展中国家在经济、管理体制、政策的贯彻效度、财力与信息资源等诸多方面均处于劣势，所以，探讨如何发展经济满足日益增长的人口，同时又能够减少对环境的破坏程度有着更深刻的现实意义。
发展中国家对于能源的定价在很大程度上并非取决于市场价值，而是取决于社会与政治原因 （Sanderson & Islam， 2000），在中国、印度、波兰和土耳其，能源产品，如煤，一直受到特殊的补贴 （World Bank， 2000， p25）， 这种状况不但导致能源的低效利用，又不利于鼓励控制废气排放。世行1993年的统计数字显示，发展中国家与经济转型国家每年对能源产品的补贴超过了2，300亿美元。此外，前苏联及东欧国家一半以上空气污染的原因皆与能源价格扭曲有关；如果取消补贴，仅这些国家就可以大大减缓能源消费水平的增长，降低世界总排放量的10%（World Bank， 2000， p41）。
发展中国家，如中国、印度、墨西哥、南非、沙特阿拉伯和智力近年来在取消补贴方面所做的努力值得称道。以中国为例，其能源价格大规模的改革始于20世纪80年代，对煤炭的补贴从1984年的37%降至1995年的29%，石油的补贴也从1990年55%减少到1995年的2% （Reid & Goldemberg， ， p235）。从1990年到，全球CO2总排放量为3.389亿吨，中国排放5，480万吨，占全球总量的6.2% （Davies， 2000）。与19前占全球总排量13%（Asian Energy News， ）的事实相比，这无疑是一个了不起的进步。

四年前，我们从世界各地来到这里，组成一个新的集体。年轻的心是最容易相通的，尽管4年中有追求有失落，有得意有烦恼，有欢乐有忧虑，有友爱有孤寂......但我们都曾怀着真诚而美好的初衷去学习、生活、相爱，没有什么比这些更有意义，更令我们怀念。
我们怀念每一位诲人不倦的老师，你们的手势或白发会刻在我们的记忆中;怀念教室里的静夜苦读，运动场上的奔跑跳跃，甚至食堂里的拥挤和高低床上的争论;怀念每一块绿地和每一片风中飘零的废纸......今天，我们没有更好的礼物留下，这第一朵玫瑰，就献给我们的母校和老师，她寄托着大家的热爱和敬意!4年很久，4年也很匆匆。

1.人口剧增因素近年来人口的剧增是导致全球变暖的主要因素之一。同时，这也严重地威胁着自然生态环境间的平衡。这样多的人口，每年仅自身排放的二氧化碳就将是一惊人的数字，其结果就将直接导制大气中二氧化碳的含量不断地增加，这样形成的二氧化碳“温室效应”将直接影响着地球表面气候变化。
2.大气环境污染因素 目前，环境污染的日趋严重已构成一全球性重大问题，同时也是导致全球变暖的主要因素之一。现在，关于全球气候变化的研究已经明确指出了自上个世纪末起地球表面的温度就已经开始上升。
3.海洋生态环境恶化因素 目前，海平面的变化是呈不断地上升趋势，根据有关专家的预测到下个世纪中叶，海平面可能升高50cm。如不采取及对措施，将直接导致淡水资源的破坏和污染等不良后果。另外，陆地活动场所产生的大量有毒性化学废料和固体废物等不断地排入海洋;发生在海水中的重大泄(漏)油事件等以及由人类活动而引发的沿海地区生态环境的破坏等都是导致海水生态环境遭破坏的主要因素。
4.土地遭侵蚀、沙化等破坏因素 造成土壤侵蚀和沙漠化的主要原因是不适当的农业生产。众所周知良好的植被能保持水土流失。但到目前为 止，人类活动如为获取木材而过度砍伐森林、开垦土地用于农业生产以及过度放牧等原因，仍在对植被进行着严重的破坏。目前全世界平均每分钟有20公顷森林被破坏，10公顷土地沙化，4.7万吨土壤被侵蚀。土壤侵蚀使土壤肥力和保水性下降，从而降低土壤的生物生产力及其保持生产力的能力;并可能造成大范围洪涝灾害和沙尘暴，给社会造成重大经济损失，并恶化生态环境。
5.森林资源锐减因素 在世界范围内，由于受自然或人为的因素而造成森林面积正在大幅度地锐减。
6.酸雨危害因素 酸雨给生态环境所带来的影响已越来越受到全世界的关注。酸雨能毁坏森林，酸化湖泊，危及生物等。目前，世界上酸雨多集中在欧洲和北美洲，多数酸雨发生在发达国家，一些发展中国家，酸雨也在迅速发生、发展。
7.物种加速灭绝因素 地球上的生物是人类的一项宝贵资源，而生物的多样性是人类赖以生存和发展的基础。但是目前地球上的生物物种正在以前所未有的速度消失。
8.水污染因素 据全球环境监测系统水质监测项目表明，全球大约有10%的监测河水受到污染，本世纪以来，人类的用水量正在急剧地增加，同时水污染规模也正在不断地扩大，这就形成了新鲜淡水的供与需的一对矛盾。由此可见，水污染的处理将是非常地迫切和重要。
9.有毒废料污染因素 不断增长的有毒化学品不仅对人类的生存构成严重的威胁，而且对地球表面的生态环境也将带来危害。
10地球周期性公转轨迹的变动 地球周期性公转轨迹由椭圆形变为圆形轨迹，距离太阳更近。根据某科学家的研究地球的温度曾经出现过高温和低温的交替，是有一定的规律性的
