回顾自己将近20年来在英语教学中的点点滴滴，感觉并没有什么特别绝对行之有效的“锦囊妙计”，有的只是严谨的工作态度，灵活的教学方法。总之一句话，有付出就有收获，成绩和平时心血的付出成正比。其实我一直感觉教师与教师之间的知识水平并没有太大的差距，重点是在教学过程中怎样去表现自己，鼓动学生，对上好一节课有没有去想办法，有没有时刻给自己提要求，有没有经常反思自己的教学方法，下面是我在教学中会经常注意的一些地方。
一、师生关系
良好的师生关系是保证完成教学任务的重要条件，要做一名学生喜欢的英语老师。学生亲其师，方能信其道，乐其道，才能积极的接受教师传授的知识，提高学习兴趣。每个老师都是为了学生好，可是有时学生真的是不领情，那么为什么学生就不明白我们的良苦用心呢?所以建立良好的师生关系显得尤为重要，要想方设法让学生对老师佩服，信服，并且乐于和你交流，愿意听你的话。这就要求我们在各个方面都要加以注意，比如：知识丰富全面，教学敬业，关爱关注学生，风趣幽默，了解孩子的心理，懂得他们的爱好兴趣，尊重信任学生。
二、热情
教师要有饱满的热情，满怀激情地走进教室，要感染学生，激发学生的情感，使课堂气氛活跃，目标一致，焕发英语课堂活力，以达到事半功倍的效果。
想象学生从早到晚，坐在教室里，一节课接着一节课，很容易产生视觉疲劳，听觉疲劳。如果老师总是板着面孔，传授知识，那很难激发学生的学习兴趣。因此，在教学中教师要注意情感的释放，教师走进课堂就应该象演员走进摄影棚，立刻进入角色，动作神态逼真传神，富于激情，用自己的教学热情去激发起学生的相应情感体验，以富有表现力的面部表情，恰当自然的形态动作给学生深刻的感染，加速激活认知能力。
三、课堂气氛
我认为好的课堂教学应该是严格与宽松相结合的。如果一节课一严到底学生会感到很压抑，久而久之便会对你的课堂失去兴趣，从而对这一科失去学习的信心，甚至还会产生抵触的心理，那就根本谈不上学习效果。可以通过小幽默，小笑话，小比赛，小表演来活跃课堂气氛，让学生更加自然、轻松、愉快的学习知识。
四、精讲多练
初中生的注意力集中时间只能持续十五到二十分钟。如果英语老师是“一张嘴，一支笔，从上课讲到下课。”的教学模式，就会出现“老师讲得天花乱坠，学生听得昏昏欲睡”的现象。新课程理念要求我们重视学生在课堂上的主体地位，少讲多练。一节英语课千万不可贪多，讲许多知识点。一节新课可适当降低难度，知识点可精讲精炼。整节课就几个重点反复操练，多读，多用，以达到学生课下能正确运用的目标。比如我会经常实行“一分钟背书”，四五句话看谁一分钟能够背完。“一口气英语”，一个长的句子或两个句子，一口气说下来，中间不准换气，看谁说的最快，最溜。在不知不觉中，很多的重点句型当堂就掌握背熟了。现在我上课只要一说“一口气英语”，学生就会马上兴奋的进入战斗状态。
五、兴趣
对于学生的学习兴趣，我们要特别注意培养和保护，注意教学的生动性和趣味性，使课堂教学生充满激情和乐趣。而学校白板设施的安装给我们提供了绝好的平台，使我们的课堂得到了无限的扩展，产生了无限的可能，使得以前比较贫乏的教学手段丰满立体起来。比如英语歌曲，西方民俗，社会现象，热点新闻，小游戏，有趣的小视频等等，都可以充实到我们的课堂中来。比如，对于某些没有学习自信的学生，我曾经播放过一个网络传播很广的小视频，《死亡爬行》，让他们相信自己，勇于拼搏，同时也学学英语中，鼓励的话都怎么说。母亲节时，我给她们播放了一个英语高手模仿各国母亲说英语，同时号召他们回家实行3H计划，三个H代表一个拥抱(hug)，一句谢谢(thank you)，帮妈妈做一件事(help)。本学期开学之初，我给学生们介绍了暑假里流行的冰桶挑战，看比尔盖茨，奥尼尔，范·迪塞尔是如何挑战冰桶的。学习动物名称时，我给他们播放去年的网络英语神曲，狐狸叫，让他们听英语中动物是怎么叫的。时间一久，这些兴趣就会转化为强大内部学习动机。
六、暗示
当向上的信念指引某人的行动时，他所向往的所有高度都有可能抵达。那我们有没有给自己的学生足够的暗示呢？
英语新教材的特点，决定了学生在学习过程中只有大胆的进行语言实践，才能真正掌握知识。而我们的学生普遍感到英语学习吃力，慢慢地产生了厌倦畏惧的心理，从而丧失了学习英语的信心。为了摆脱这种状况，我在教学随时利用一切机会，因势利导，以表扬为主，鼓励为辅，暗示他们每一个人都可以把英语学好。比如讲句子结构时，我就会说，英国人特笨，中国人特聪明，为什么？你看，他们把句子最重要的主语“人”放最前边，谓语动词做了什么挨着主语放，其它不重要的时间啊地点啊方式啊原因啊全扔在后边，所以他们说话是这样的，什么人做了什么事怎么样的什么地点什么时间。中国人多聪明啊，重要的放后边，时间啊地点什么的搁前边。我们是这样说的，什么时间什么地点某人做了什么，外国人一辈子都搞不懂。还有，中国人经常会说：“是的，我没有。”但英国人一听就懵了，是的怎么还没呢？他们只能理解“是的，我有”。学生一听，还真是的，这么难的中文我都会了，英语比起汉语真是太简单了。

as we all know, the most important thing in life is our attitude towards it, tons of men have tried different ways of treating life, and some succeeded, some failed, and here are some of the tips they left us.
life isn’t about keeping score. life isn’t about your shoes or your hair or the color of your skin. in fact it’s not about if you have lots of friends or if you are alone, and it’s not about how accepted or unaccepted you are.
life just isn’t about that.
but life is about whom you love and who you hurt. it’s about how you feel about yourself. it’s about trust, happiness and ***passion.
it’s about sticking up for your friends and replacing inner hate with love. life is about avoiding jealousy, over***ing ignorance and building confidence. it’s about what you say and what you mean.
it’s about seeing people for who they are and not what they have. and we should always remember to be ourselves. other might have things that we desire but being what we really are is the only trail leading to the true colors of life.
most of all, it’s about choosing to use your life to touch someone else’s in a way that could have never been achieved otherwise.
the paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers; we buy more but enjoy them less. we’ve learnt how to make a living but not a life, we’ve added years to life, but not life to years. and it is time for us to choose whether to make a difference in our life.
and these choices are what life is about.
